Andy Bannister on "Do Muslims and Christians Worship the Same God?"

Many people in our postmodern world argue that Muslims and Christians worship the same God. They post that, as members of the “Abrahamic” faiths, Christianity and Islam are essentially the same. Most Christians intuitively know this is not true; yet, they still struggle to articulate why it is so. My guest on this podcast is Andy Bannister and his new book is an excellent resource to answer this question.

Andy has been engaging Islam since the 90s through street evangelism in London and even completed a Ph.D. in Qur’anic studies. He is the Director of the Solas Centre for Public Christianity, an evangelism and training ministry based in Scotland. He is passionate about getting the gospel out of the four walls of the Church (and into places like coffee shops, universities, schools, pubs, and so on). He also loves equipping Christians to share their faith at work or among their friends. Andy is a frequent speaker and the author of several works including The Atheist Who Didn’t Exist and his latest Do Muslims and Christians Worship the Same God?
